In May 2026, after: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10245015295740853&set=pcb.10245015298540923, I unexpectedly discovered that my TU Graz mailbox appeared to have lost all of its emails.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the IT Support of Graz University of Technology (TU Graz): https://www.tugraz.at/…/central-information-technology for their prompt assistance. After I reported the incident, my mailbox was successfully restored within a very short time.

As I was concerned about the cause of the incident, I also asked whether any unusual login activity or unauthorised access had been detected. The matter was subsequently reviewed by the TU Graz Security Team. According to the information provided to me, no anomalies were found in the successful login attempts. They also explained that, although the exact sequence of events could not be reconstructed, similar incidents are often related to mail clients or mobile devices.
