Case 13

And the fun never ends, yesterday 23:05.2025 I was invited to be a speaker at a conference about Climate

. I am very thankful for the honour, but if it’s not about AgenticAI #AgenticAI I’d rather not do it since I am not an expert in non-AI fields (… and in AI, I am still continuously learning). Needless to say that the conference has a free-text EMail submission form. Let’s try to find out how they’ve got my EMail…

I adapted my announcement on Facebook and LinkedIn – soon in LinkedIn there will be no space left to list all the services I do NOT provide and need to explicitly state one-by-one

Being a speaker is great, but one needs to know what one talks about. I speak my mind either way; this topic and place of the conference will lead to what I will say next.

And the fun never stops; the discussion continues so long as I start asking where they find me and my EMail. After that, there is no answer on LinkedIn, nor on Facebook. One more case of professional ghosting for me

If they had my personal EMail by legal means, why can’t they answer or provide proof?

The organisers of the “Climate” conference did not respect my professional statement and answer. First of all they also don’t answer concretely about where they’ve found my private EMail; look how similar this answer is to the previous case; ” was obtained through publicly available professional platforms or academic profiles—such as university websites, research publications, or conference proceedings—where speakers and researchers often list their contact details for professional networking purposes.”
And even if you have my EMail, who allowed you to subscribe me without my consent? Upon asking again, there is no answer –  professional ghosting at its best.

What I find extremely funny is the sentence on the bottom with small characters: “Disclaimer: This is not a spam message and has been sent to you because of your eminence in the province. If, however, you do not want to receive any email in future from …. 2026 reply us with the subject “remove /unsubscribe”. We concern for your concealment.”

Erm… my “eminence in the province”? Yes, I know I can unsubscribe – what a surprise, thank you for the info. What you cannot answer is who subscribed me. Who can that person be?
